Time given each days is equal. However, I don’t feel so when I have a fantastic and unforgettable time with someone who make me feel like the clock is stop clicking for awhile. The persons I have mentioned are my host American family in Scotts bluff, Nebraska, Kristen and Eric Wiebe. We both apparently have nothing in common but inside there is a bridge that we can walk through and connect each other when we exchange our culture and express one another’s thought. How would you let pretty much a stranger like me from another country staying with? Would you trust someone you have not know before to become part of your life? Would you feel secure when you are with someone who look different from you? Bare in mind. I’ve used to think like that before and the best way is to open you mind and yout heart in learning something new or something you didn’t expect. The circumstance from living with my host family has widen my view of living in diversity among human nowadays. I enjoy learning and being surprised from something out of my comfort zone. Although this staying-in experience was only a few days, the story we have built together will always be in my heart eternally.
I can not imagine how fast second week has gone through having a chance to travel to the Western Nebraska and South Dakota where the mounts Rushmore located. I can truely see it myself not through someone else’s picture but real right in front of my eyes. It was such a fabulous spring break and one of my life time that will not forget the time and people whom I spent with.
